Workshop - Screen printing on glass- 19th October 10.30-1pm

£55.00

After the popularity of a special workshop created to celebrate glass making heritage last year, the sun catcher workshop is now part of the programme. In this introductory class you will learn how to screen print on glass with enamel and make a colourful hanging sun catcher, a set of two coasters or 3 decorations.

During the half day workshop you will be shown techniques to hand cut paper stencils to create a stained glass inspired or geometric design. Helen will demonstrate how to apply coloured and metallic enamels and add texture to your piece with fused glass detail. Plenty of inspiration will be provided on the day and you are welcome to bring along your own design ideas too!

After the session your pieces will be kiln fired and have any fixings added. They will be ready within a few weeks for studio collection or posted, which can be paid for on the day.
